Single Parent Programs: The TAMUC Children’s Learning Center is a four-star, accredited program accommodates children between the ages of six weeks to twelve years old. A typical day at the center will include story time, hands-on education in subjects like math and science, and two meals. Forty off-campus apartments are specifically reserved for students living with a spouse and/or dependent children.

Tuition cost: $6,948
Single parent programs: The school is partnered with the Student Parents Also Raising Kids organization, which is designed to support non-traditional students as they earn a degree. This is just one of several programs to help single mothers, and is one of the only colleges that have daycare on campus. Students may network to create daycare partnerships within the SPARK organization.
Misericordia University hosts the Ruth Matthews Bourger Women With Children Program, which focuses on helping single mothers complete their education while living on campus with their children. They offer help with childcare (the university aids mothers with a subsidy to help with childcare costs), personal support, financial aid and scholarships.
